Every single year, it is during Chinese New Year that people realised how old they are when they look at the kids. The kids are no longer considered kids anymore and it is at that moment that one suddenly realised that he/she is old or at least not of a very young age. I myself wasn’t spared as well as I came to realise how old I’m when I saw my cousins, whom my impression of them has always been that of little kids, are all grown up, either entering junior colleges or taking the ‘O’ Levels this year. My uncle had the exact same feeling when he suddenly realise that my eldest brother is already in his 30s and I’m already 27 this year. How time flies for all of us…
