Another Super Sunday…

It is another super Sunday with another big game in the current Barclays Premier League season. It is the Blues against the Reds. It’s Chelsea playing Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. The Blues appear to have the upper hand based on current form but then again when it comes to clashes of titans, the form book can be thrown out of the window.

Back to work tomorrow after off it for the last two weeks to take the examinations…

Lazing around…

It was really laid back for a Saturday. I wasn’t doing anything and was just sitting around the whole day. I haven’t got the time to do this for so long and now that exams are over, there was nothing else to worry about and I can totally sit around and do nothing. Watched some movies on DVD and read some comics. It’s a Sunday tomorrow…

Finally, it’s over!

After 2 weeks of fixture pile up for the papers, everything has come to an end. It was the last paper we haave to take for the semester and I think we did good enough. Spent the rest of the day not doing much except discussing some comic project with Mel at his place. We currently have only three characters set for the series with only the preliminary drawings completed. We still have a lot to work on from there though. Currently nothing is on for tomorrow…

Yo Joe!

It’s the last day before the last paper tomorrow morning. Danny and I were clearly struggling with some of the parts of the module. Luckily for us, he met Joseph on one of his toilet trip and he was a great help, providing as much assistance as he could. Thanks a lot Jo. I think I owe you one. It’s all the way tomorrow and I won’t be stopping till 1315 hrs exactly…

Countdown: One day left…

•November 4, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Counting down to the Statistics paper on Friday morning and I have exactly one full day left to revise. I spent the entire day in school today to carry on with my supposedly intensive revision but I am kind of distracted by the fact that it is the last paper. Hoping that I can at least summon enough concentration for tomorrow and Friday to pull myself through all this. Felt a little like a wedding planner today as YQ called up and chat about her last paper on Saturday and also about her wedding next January. She was finding problems slotting one of our friend into the limited amount of seats available to her. Danny was late again but I need to cut him some slack for these past few days as he is kind of on the verge of falling sick. Let’s hope there is enough time tomorrow to finish everything up… Friday will be here very soon…

Slipped-up again…

A day back in school again and it was a big slip-up as progress was really slow and there is a lot of catching up to be done tomorrow. I spent the whole day at the bench but there wasn’t much work done. Danny was late and he came at about 4 plus in the afternoon. After going through the mid-semester practice paper, it was time to call it a day. Back to school again tomorrow…

Earthquake! Aftershock!

There has been so many shockers recently. Too many a one time to stomach. Most are considered pleasant and I am able to recover from. First one was the questions for the MAB paper on Saturday. It was totally unexpected as the questions looked quite different from what I have practiced all this while leading to the paper. The second shocker was the weekend English premiership game where Liverpool lost to Fulham one goal to three. That was a really pleasant surprise. Much welcomed I must say. haha. The last shocker which came as the biggest one among the three has got to be the one today. YQ getting married? It was totally out of the blue with no sign of it at all for the whole time. Just what exactly happened that induced her into the liason? I can only picture the guy proposing to her in the most romantic way ever to win her over. Blissful life ahead for many years to come, sis! Congratulations! A new chapter in your life is beginning. It’s the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. Congratulations again!

Focus is back on my Statistics paper which intensive preparation will be ongoing over the next three days…

Can you believe this guy…

It was a Sunday and it was a planned full day revision for the Commercial Law paper tomorrow. The meet up/ commencement timing was set at 1000 am and I deliberately set the location at Ang Mo Kio so that Danny won’t be late. He stays in that area. Can you believe this guy? If you have wagered with anyone that he will be at least 2 hours late for every single time, nobody would take that up as they know they will lose that for sure. I was late myself because I was counting on him to be late by at least one and a half hour. I reached at 1030 and he only reached like two hours later. The 15 minutes he said he needed to rush from home was one of the longest 15 minutes ever. One hour exactly by the way. Progress was a little slow and we finally ended up at the Senior Citizen’s corner at one of the nearby blocks after finding no place in the community library and being chased out of McDonald’s restaurant by the staff. Called it a day at around 2145 and I vowed to be back in school early tomorrow to do the final round of revision…

Recovery…

I have been through another 13 hour work day. I have been doing this for the past few days as I prepare for the “fixture pile-up” over the course of the last few days which will extend till Monday. Really tough. Just completed my second paper in less than three days. It is three papers in five days. Need a lot of mental strength to pull through this unscathed. Satisfied with my performance today as I recovered from an early setback. Hope I can score the crucial points. In less than 10 days time I will be back to work. Went KAP McDonald’s after the paper to carry on with revision with the paper coming up on Monday. It as kind of awesome as Danny was feeling cold and bought a bottle of red wine to share. haha. Imagine studying with red wine as the refreshment. haha. Met Wei Lun and Serene with her brother and his girlfriend and chat a little. Call it a day at 9pm and what a day it is in the Barclays Premier League.

As I have mentioned last week, the Manchurian’s loss last week at Anfield is actually just doing Pool a favour on days when they lose to lowly oppositions. Rafael Benitez and his players’ faces were as red as the red shirt they wear at Craven’s cottage today. Lost 3-1 against Fulham, reduced to nine man with two players sent off, including vice-captain Carragher. Just like what I said last week, they are too reliant on English man captain Gerrard and the dynamic Spaniard Torres. Without them, they look plain ordinary. They certainly do not just look ordinary, they look like boys playing against men today… You can beat the Devils by whatever scoreline, if you cannot win against lowly opponents like Fulham today, you can kiss your title aspirations good-bye…

Another full day revision tomorrow at AMK planned…

Lone Ranger…

Another day in school today and the only difference is that Danny stayed home today. He was feeling sick after yesterday’s paper and that was the reason why yesterday’s afternoon revision session was called off. There are some issues we have to look at carefully in preparation for the upcoming papers over the next three days. This is the crucial period – two papers in three days. I will need to strengthen my mind to be able come through this unscathed. No more slip-ups. I can’t afford to screw up again. Stayed in school till almost 9pm and I’ll still have to be back early tomorrow to prepare for the paper tomorrow afternoon. Endurance is the key and it will be time to celebrate in a week’s time. Hang on…
